Maps of traffic crashes in Chicago collected by the Illinois Department of Transportation. They are both incomplete. A great example of that is how there are more crashes in five months of 2017 than in 12 months of 2016, and also that crashes geocoded to appear outside of the Chicago city limits hasn't been corrected yet.

IDOT asks that this disclaimer appears anywhere the data is used: "The motor vehicle crash data referenced herein was provided by the Illinois Department of Transportation. The author is responsible for any data analyses and conclusions drawn."
