Run Free ("the app") is developed by Ullrich Schäfer. Your privacy is simple to explain: the app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
Everything you enter or track in Run Free — your training progress and completed days, your One-Mile Test times, your "Big Deal" distance, and your unit and language preferences — is stored only on your device using the operating system's standard local storage. It never leaves your phone, and the developer never receives or sees it.
- No account, sign-up, or login.
- No analytics, tracking, advertising, or third-party SDKs.
- No data is sent to the developer or to any server.
- No location, contacts, health-app, or device-identifier access.
The app works fully offline. The only time it opens the internet is when you tap an external link on the About screen (for example the authors' websites). That opens your browser and is governed by those sites' own privacy policies.
Because all data is local, you can erase it at any time by using "Reset all progress" in the app, or by deleting the app from your device.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
