# Terms & Conditions — computerviruseswatch

**computerviruseswatch** ("the app") is a moderation helper for the
subreddit it is installed on. By installing or using the app, you agree to
these terms.

1. **Purpose.** The app monitors public posts with a configurable flair
   (default "Disinfection Help") and maintains a status list in a Discord
   channel configured by the subreddit's moderators, so that community
   helpers can respond to unanswered requests faster.

2. **Intended users.** The app is intended to be installed and configured
   by moderators of the subreddit. Configuration (Discord webhook, flair
   names, time window) is available only to moderators through Reddit's
   app settings page.

3. **No warranty.** The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any
   kind. The developer does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free
   operation, timely notifications, or completeness of the list. The app
   is a convenience tool and not a substitute for moderation.

4. **Limitation of liability.** To the maximum extent permitted by law,
   the developer is not liable for any damages arising from the use of, or
   inability to use, the app, including missed notifications or actions
   taken based on the list it produces.

5. **Acceptable use.** The app must not be used to harass users or to
   circumvent Reddit's rules. Use of the app is subject to Reddit's
   [User Agreement](https://www.redditinc.com/policies/user-agreement) and
   [Developer Terms](https://www.redditinc.com/policies/developer-terms),
   and Discord's [Terms of Service](https://discord.com/terms).

6. **Changes.** These terms and the app's functionality may be updated at
   any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance
   of the updated terms.
