- Our development projects are typically built on PHP (the LAMP stack) and are often using Laravel. You don’t need to know those to join our team, as long as you’re experienced with another MVC framework (such as CakePHP, Codeigniter or Zend).
- You enjoy a startup environment and have a strong desire to grow.
- Have development experience using PHP, MVC, Javascript (and its variations - jQuery, etc) and CSS.
- Write clean and beautifully, well commented code.
- Loves keeping up-to-date on the newest advancements in the field and can figure out when to start applying those advancements to client work.
- Your job will be fun, challenging, and interesting.
- User interface and graphics skills.
- Ability to splice PSDs.
- Understanding of SEO principles and social media.
- SQL and database design experience.
- Basic understanding of server administration.
- iPhone/Android/mobile development experience.
- Familiarity with MVC design patterns.
- Experience with Facebook, Twitter, Dropbox or Google APIs.
We’re also looking for an Android Developer who can be involved in all parts of the development lifecycle, from preliminary research to release. You will have the opportunity to make our mobile offerings even better, whether it’s implementing new features, improving performance or making sure the user interface is top notch.
- Architect, build and maintain our internal in-house Android applications, providing ongoing support throughout the product lifecycle.
- Cutting-edge Android application prototyping and development.
- Research and remain informed of new technology and development tools.
- Keep up-to-date on the latest Android SDK developments; respond to customer feedback & testing.
- Work with cross-functional teams and mobile developers to build app according to requirements and drive successful launches of android versions.
- 2+ years programming on Android devices.
- Knowledge and demonstrable work on the current Android platform, including the latest ICS and Jellybean versions.
- Experience starting projects from scratch and jumping in to an existing architecture.
- Experience in JSON/XML based application development.
- Very comfortable learning new technologies, tools and platforms.
- Self-motivated, and can excel in a team-based environment. Strong initiative and enthusiasm for our offerings.
