- Download odin flasher https://github.com/Adrilaw/OdinV4, unpack somewhere
- Download GUI interface for flasher https://github.com/ethical-haquer/Galaxy-Flasher, build it and start (GUI might be not needed but easier)
- Download official Samsung firmware S918BXXU8CYB4 for BTB: https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-S918B/BTB/S918BXXU8CYB4
- Unpack and flash it using Galaxy Flasher and Odin. To flash firmware you need to FULLY turn OFF the phone, hold volume up + volume down and connect USB cable to the PC after that. After you see the blue screen release buttoms and press Volume Up once again. Now you can flash with Galaxy Flasher and Odin!
- For flashing you need either 4 or 5 archives (AP, BL, CP, CSC, and optionally HOME CSC) and select Odin Binary in Galaxy Flasher and then select each of the files. GUI is self explanatory. To build GUI you can follow official docs at https://galaxy-flasher-docs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/flatpak-install.html#installation
- Boot into it once, connect wifi, try to install external APK (it will fail but try anyways) by doing the following:
- Accessibility button (bottom-right, small round button with a person on the main setup wizard screen) -> Universal switch -> Skip -> Settings -> Voice feedback -> On -> Text-to-speech -> Preferred engine (NOT COG!) -> Speech Recognition and Synthesis from Google -> Back -> Preferred engine (Set-up COG this time!) -> Feedback -> Legal Help -> Click on youtube video -> Click on youtube video header -> Ok -> Accept all -> You will either be forwarded to Chrome, Samsung Internet, or youtube itself. If it's browser you can just navigate to frpbypass.romstage.com or any other website with APK and try to install it. If it's just youtube, follow next steps:
- Youtube: search for any topic on the top and then click three dots on the top right corner -> Help and Feedback -> Turn Restricted mode on or off (find in the list or search for this article) -> scroll down to "Troubleshoot problems with turning Restricted mode off" -> Youtube content restriction page -> Chrome will open -> Use without an account -> No, thanks -> now you have URL bar on top and you can try frpbypass.romstage.com or any other APK website. Download APK and try to allow and install it. If it installs, good work. If not, continue this manual.
- What you need to do if you can now install apps - Install Apex Launcher or any other launcher from APK, then navigate to any Google app that require log-in (e.g. Youtube), and find a way to add your profile. After adding it, your FRP is now replaced. However, if you can't still install APKs continue this manual.
- Download official samsung firmware S918BXXU8EYI5 for BTB: https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-S918B/BTB/S918BXXU8EYI5
- Repeat steps 4-9 and this time it will allow you to install APK, after installing APK find a way to log-in into one of your google accounts
- After that you can remove your google accounts again and reset your phone, this time instead of asking for original google account it will ask for verification of your account to remove it, and the phone is fully usable without even adding an account this time.
