- Date of feedback conversation:
- How did you prepare for the conversation?
I prepared for this feedback session by first thinking about how I might give this criticism in a written medium and also my imagining how that criticsm might then be perceived by my partner.
- How did the conversation go for you? What was easy about the conversation? What was more difficult?
I felt that the conversation was particularly easy because of the general success of the project and because I felt that my partner and I had gotten along well throughout the project. In the case that this project had gone poorly, this conversation would have been far more difficult to have. I felt that the feedback session provided a healthy conculsion to the project in which my partner and I could feel good about what we had accomplished while also gaining some awareness of minor areas in which we could improve.
- What principles of feedback did you use in the conversation?
This session was primarily rooted in appreciation, but also featured a few small areas in which coaching was employed.
