Below code is of custom segue, and you can set duration of transition in code.

{
    UIViewController *src = (UIViewController *) self.sourceViewController;
    UIViewController *dst = (UIViewController *) self.destinationViewController;
    [UIView transitionFromView:src.view
                        toView:dst.view
                      duration:3.0
                       options:UIViewAnimationOptionTransitionFlipFromLeft

}
