This is how I made cold brew coffee for the first time in a long time on 2018-09-17!
- Toddy brewer
- scale
- water pitcher
- 1.656 L RO Water
- 340 g Coffee
- Wet toddy filter
- Put plug into bottom of toddy maker
- Put filter into bottom of toddy maker
- Add 237g Water to toddy maker
- Grind 170g Coffee (75g + 75g + 30g – to weigh easily) on setting 28 on Virtuoso
- Gently add coffee on top of water in toddy maker
- Add 710g water to toddy maker in a circular motion (spinning toddy maker)
- Wait 5 minutes
- Grind 170g Coffee (75g + 75g + 30g – to weigh easily) on setting 28 on Virtuoso
- Weigh out 710g water
- Add coffee to toddy maker, distributing evenly
- Add water to toddy maker in a circular motion (spinning toddy maker)
- Any coffee that is not submerged can be pushed down under the water with the back of a spoon
- Cover with plastic wrap
- Put into wine fridge at 55°F at 20:50 MDT
