Pitch

This application crawls twitter for mentions of a particular cryptocurrency/coin within a 24hr period.

Problem

Cryptocurrency markets are incredibly speculative and highly volatile. Influencers on social media and from major news organizations have been using various tactics to drive price in a direction of their choosing. Many novice investors allow themselves to be persuaded without having enough context with regards to media coverage and price manipulation.

Solution

This app aims to give users an idea of how much coverage a coin is receiving currently and how this is affecting trading volume and current price.The app will show users the number of mentions in the last 24 hours as well as whether it is trending upward or downward in terms of volume/price/coverage. The app will use a spectrum of color from blue to red to signal the coins 'hotness'

Target Audience

This is applicable to anyone trading cryptocurrencies or interested in trading cryptocurrencies
