Dear O.W.L. Parents,
We have started using an exciting new Math resource in our class called Think Through Math, which is a Web-based solution that provides adaptive math instruction for students in grades 3 through Algebra 1. Developed by teachers and technologist to help students prepare for rigorous TEKS standards and assessments, Think Through Math supports math achievement in unprecedented ways.
And the best part? The kids love it, and are having a great time! They are highly motivated to progress through the lessons, and they can earn ‘points’ that they can spend on their avatar. Spring break would be a great time for your child to use the resource, get more familiar with the program, and not lose any ground in the things we've been practicing.
No joke... one child told me that instead of playing video games over the break, he can't wait to do Math!!! (It's a Spring Break miracle ;)
Your child is bringing home a letter with their log-in information today. Please keep their code in a safe place :)
