The "Repeater Detail" screen displays partially incorrect information when using a digital repeater from a memory channel.
This occurs on my TH-D74A with firmware version 1.05.
Steps to reproduce: | |
- Store a digital repeater into a conventional memory channel, e.g. "KC0WLB B":
UR: CQCQCQ | |
R2: KC0WLB G | |
R1: KC0WLB B | |
MY: <Any> | |
- Recall the memory channel so it displays.
- Press [F], DIGITAL, and choose "Repeater Detail"
All of the information except the callsign, frequency, and offset are incorrect. The radio will display the wrong information for the Region, Country, Zone, and City, as well as the State, and distance/heading information. This information appears to come from the repeater currently selected in VFO + DR mode:
- Press [VFO] to enter VFO mode
- Press [MODE] to enter DR mode
- Rotate the encoder knob to choose a different repeater, or hold DOWN to enter the "Repeater Select" mode, and choose a different repeater in any location.
- Press [MR] to return to the original memory channel programmed earlier.
- Press [F], DIGITAL, and choose "Repeater Detail"
The callsign of the repeater from the memory channel is shown, but the other details (Zone, Country, Heading/Distance, etc) from the repeater chosen while in VFO DR mode appear.
Expected result: | |
I expect the correct repeater information for the repeater entered in the memory channel to be displayed. |
