should be used instead.

how do I implement this ssl wrap code into this class?
httpd = HTTPServer((HOST,PORT), SimpleHTTPRequestHandler)
httpd.socket = ssl.wrap_socket(httpd.socket, certfile='mycert.pem', server_side=True)
Hello there,
Anyone know how to give the directory path ? i found "directory=/your/path/" for the BaseHTTPRequest but not working..
Thx
how do I implement this ssl wrap code into this class?
httpd = HTTPServer((HOST,PORT), SimpleHTTPRequestHandler) httpd.socket = ssl.wrap_socket(httpd.socket, certfile='mycert.pem', server_side=True)
def run():
httpd = http.server.HTTPServer(
('localhost', 4443), SimpleHTTPRequestHandler)
httpd.socket = ssl.wrap_socket(
httpd.socket, certfile='./server.pem', server_side=True)
httpd.serve_forever()
if __name__ == '__main__':
run()
Tap localhost:443
Awesome! Thanks for making this! Really appreciate the simplicity.
I had some trouble on Windows 10/AMD64 after upgrading to Python3 version 3.9.1. The bind appeared to be misbehaving. It worked again when I changed line 292 to:
http.server.test(HandlerClass, ServerClass, port=8000, bind='0.0.0.0')

Thanks for sharing solved my issue too
To upload a file from the command line with this server, you can use the command:
curl -v -F [email protected] http://server:8000
https://gist.github.com/unkn0wnsyst3m/bd1d7a6f0b3588f118dff4ae1f43b4c1
^updated with SSL, command line options, AND how to upload (at the bottom of the gist)
How do I set a custom port and ip?
try the gist linked above
https://gist.github.com/unkn0wnsyst3m/bd1d7a6f0b3588f118dff4ae1f43b4c1
how to run with termux
great!
I put it in Python/Lib,and use the script in terminal like python -m SimpleHTTPServerWithUpload 8030
if __name__ == '__main__':
import argparse
parser = argparse.ArgumentParser()
parser.add_argument('--bind', '-b', default='0.0.0.0', metavar='ADDRESS',
help='Specify alternate bind address '
'[default: all interfaces]')
parser.add_argument('port', default=8000, type=int,
help='Specify alternate port [default: 8000]')
args = parser.parse_args()
http.server.test(HandlerClass=SimpleHTTPRequestHandler, port=args.port, bind=args.bind)
if want to use it with custom port or ip, just modify the test function to pass port/ip param to http.server.test
http.server.test Signature:
