Install curl with sftp and https support on Ubuntu

  • Download latest curl
  • Manual install curl:
sudo apt install libssh2-1-dev libssl-dev
cd curl/
./configure --with-ssl --with-libssh2
make
sudo make install
  • Test installation:
curl -V
