DTR for Movie Tracker project
# Project: Movie Tracker
Group Member Names: Heather Hartley and Tiffany Bachmann
Goals and Expectations for the Project (What does each group member hope to get out of this project? What do we want to achieve as a team? How will we know that we're successful?):
- Better understanding of Redux
- Better understanding of async testing
- Better understanding of the backend and working with API keys, POST
Team strengths & collaboration styles:
- Good communication
- Starting to feel better about testing
How we can use our strengths to overcome obstacles:
- Communicate with eachother when we come across bugs or issues
- Good unit testing can help catch bugs or issues sooner
Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually? What constraints do we have?):
- Work together during afternoon worktime and in evening
- Open to working on the weekend as well
- No constraints right now, but will let eachother know if something comes up
Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open? How will we make decisions as a team?):
- Checkin daily before starting to work on project
- Communicate through slack when not working together
Abilities & Growth Expectations (Technical strengths and areas for desired improvement):
- See above Goals...
Workload Expectations (What features do we each want to work on?):
- Would like to work together on as much as possible so we both have a good understanding of Redux/Router etc by end of project
- Will split up features we both understand if needed for project deadline
Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests/Debugging and Problem-solving Techniques):
- PRs with comments for features we work on separately
- Use Git issues to track workflow
Expectations for giving and receiving feedback:
- Daily checkins
Project management tools we will use:
- Wireframe Pro
- Git issues
- GitHub
