PIDs 336/337 are the main process here:

for x86_64 running under qemu to translate to arm64.PIDs 338/339 are the child proc:
cat
for x86_64 also running under qemu.cat
spawns ok but quickly segfaults on unmapped memory access. The main process saw it start ok, however, and so tries to write to the stdin pipe, which immediately causes a SIGPIPE.
