Bill's H1-2020 Final Project Idea List
  1. Feed Me Seymour - Find the closest vegan-friendly restaurant open near you, anywhere in the world (Happy Cow API?)
  2. Casual Care Pool - swap dogsitting with your neighbors
  3. Pixels Clone - mood-tracking app
  4. Clip-a-roo - clipboard manager that lets you pin certain things you use all the time, like your Zoom URL
  5. Firefox Add-On that lets you always open certain URls in container tabs, e.g. always open GitHub in Work container
  6. Amazon Ipsum - lorem ipsum generator that uses Amazon business speak. Bias for 6-pagers!
  7. One Line a Day - a digital version of Chronicle Book's Line-a-Day Journal
  8. Throwback - Finds some good photos in your archives every Thursday to suggest you to post for #ThrowbackThursday
  9. Calendly Clone - they charge way too much
  10. Super Lean TODO App - items age and expire if you don't complete them. Forces you to keep a WIP limit and be realistic
  11. Better Breaks - an app that forces the 20/20/20 break and a longer break once per hour with a suggestion what to do: like stretch, walk around
  12. Queue It! - tag items in Pocket.io and then send them to a Slack channel according to a schedule, like 3x per day (will not post if there is any messages in the channel within 15min so it doesn't interrupt conversations)
  13. A better repl.it - it is really hard to use, especially in teacher mode
  14. Pantry Manager - warns you when you're running low on items
  15. TP Hoarder - crowdsourced map where toilet paper is available
  16. Android App Drawers - Keep your apps on a single screen by hiding those you don't launch
  17. Book Swap - Use your Goodreads shelves to find folks that own the books you want and swap a book with them using media mail
  18. Dog Trough - track how much food your free-fed pet eats using a postal scale, camera, and this app
  19. Queue of Queues - dashboard of your Goodreads lists, Netflix queue, Spotify playlists, etc so you can decide how much time to spend on each
  20. Coffee Walk - Find a friend of a friend on LinkedIn to have a coffee meet & greet walk (once we're back in the world, or on Zoom before that)
