My name is Olga Zdanchuk. From a recruiters web-site workingday.lv, I learned that you are searching for a Python developer.
I am interested in this position and I believe that my education and background are appropriate for this role.
I got Bachelor degree in Computer Science at Transport and Telecommunication Institute, in 2009.
After that I have been studying for 2 years in University of Latvia.
Now I am Master in Computer Science and will get my diploma on June, 30th.
I was attending Java Courses at Accenture in 2009.
My first acquaintance with Python was according to syllabus
in Transport and Telecommunication Institute, back in 2005.
I found it interesting and convinient programming language for scripting and web-development.
After first course, I used Python several times in my studies.
For example, in course work in 2010, I used Python with Django and SQLite to prototype a Footbal statistic page.
Small program proving my Master degree thesis was also written in Python.
I worked in a small developer team in 2009.
It was project for CV publication/management system.
System was based on classic web-application stack: Linux, Apache, PHP, PostgreSQL.
We were using SVN for source code version control and custom scripts for deployment.
I've also used SVN for solving team tasks in University of Latvia.
That project was successfully delivered to a client and our team got positive feedback.
I also worked as a freelancing Flash-designer.
I was responsible for creating guidelines-based animation for advertising production.
This job involved interaction with art director, digital photo editing and ActionScript programming.
My job was recognized both from client and management side.
To know more about software development, I keep contact with many collegues.
I tend to follow up-to-date technologies and techniques every day.
I am interested in Scrum development, I have visited Agile Riga Day conference in May, 2011.
I am interested in Linux, I took part in Ubuntu Bug Jam & Installest, supported by Accenture, in April, 2010.
Nowdays, I am living in Espoo, Finland, but I will arrive to Riga to get my diploma on June, 30th.
Enclosed is a copy of my resume, which more fully details my qualifications for the position.
I look forward to talking with you. Do not hesitate me to contact for any details or references.
