I shall include and share with you some of the stuff that I had to install.

I don't know why I never thought of making a bash script for all this

This is a pretty good idea! Why I havent thought of this myself I wonder.

In case you hadn't thought of it, you could execute your script from the gist using curl like so:
curl -L https://gist.github.com/rebootd/a5b17e73c7daebdd048f823c68d1f57a/raw | sh

I like the curl -L {{file}} | sh

That looks great for a one and done script.

For when I need a chain of things though... wget is my friend
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bradchesney79/2015DebianJessieWebserverProject/master/init.sh && chmod 770 init.sh && ./init.sh && cd /root/bin && . /root/bin/build-script.sh && . /root/bin/load-script.sh

Wait, wait--

curl -L https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bradchesney79/2015DebianJessieWebserverProject/master/init.sh | sh && cd /root/bin && . /root/bin/build-script.sh && . /root/bin/load-script.sh

Nice.

Getting error message while running post_install.sh script.
$ ./post_install.sh
./post_install.sh: line 210: syntax error near unexpected token )' ./post_install.sh: line 210: 22)'

It's working after uncomment the line. I just want to bring your notice, have a look and update the script accordingly.

That's a lot of updating apt after repository additions. My bash skills aren't up to writing a proper patch, but consider:

function get.repo.reqs (
    for each software (
        add-apt-repository
    )
)

apt update

function do.installs (
    apt install -y <software.list>
)

or however that's going to work. Much time saved checking repository content lists and updating them.
