Expanding disk inside Hyper-V using Linux Virtual Machine (Ubuntu)

Turn off your virtual machine
Go to Settings > SCSI Controller > Hard Drive. In the Media section, edit the Virtual Hard Disk and expand to desired space
Start the virtual machine and connect to it
Install the GParted by running the command sudo apt install gparted
Open the GParted GUI (or run the command sudo gparted to open it)
Go through the resizing process on the application's GUI. You could follow this Tutorial on Youtube.
Reboot the machine and done!
