Starting an online business in a new industry can seem overwhelming and confusing - don’t worry, we got you!
We created The Dummy’s Guide To AI Models so that you can understand the business journey ahead of you with full clarity, and no confusion.
Welcome to the Dummy’s Guide To AI Models!
We totally understand that coming into such a new industry can feel overwhelming and a little confusing, so we have put together this Dummy’s Guide to break everything down, and give you a clear understanding of the business venture ahead of you.
Make sure you go through this guide start to finish in order to set yourself up for success!
As you embark upon this journey into the world of AI models, there will be some terms that come up that you may not understand at first.
This is okay, because this is a brand new industry, and most people don’t even know about it yet!
We’ve listed some of the common terms that you will hear, and provided some definitions so that you can head into this journey with a full, rounded understanding.
The word 'prompt' essentially means how you provide an AI platform with information. It’s the way in which you prompt the AI to give you a response or a result.
Look at ChatGPT, it gives you results based on the text that you write to it. This text is called a text prompt.
A close-up portrait of a young woman.
She is Juliette Hayes, 18 years old from Chicago. She has white skin, soft gray-blue eyes, a delicate nose, and glossy nude lips. Her dark brunette hair is styled in long straight layers with a middle part.
Consistent skin tone, realistic lighting, high-resolution photography style, White studio background, Canon EOS R5, 85mm lens, f1.8.
With AI creation platforms, you will use primarily text prompts, but unlike ChatGPT where you typically ask questions, you’ll be giving direct instructions on what you want the AI creation platform to produce.
In this industry, text prompts are what you will use most of the time, but you can also utilize image prompts too, or you can use a mixture of image and text prompts together.
You’ll hear the word generate or the term generations all the time in this journey.
The word generate is used in place of the word 'create'.
For example, instead of saying 'I will create some images of my model' - you would say, 'I will generate some images of my model.'
On most AI platforms you’ll see a ‘generate’ button that you’ll need to click to actually start creating the content.
And of course, ‘generations’ is the term used for the content you’ve already created, for example, you may hear somebody say 'my image generations have come out really well!'
View this like a USB stick that stores all of your model's information.
To create your AI model and their content, you’ll be using AI platforms where you will need to write some text prompts into a box to describe what you want to see in the content.
Of course, you will need to describe your model's physical appearance.
You could write a text prompt such as “a 22 year old blonde woman with blue eyes”, and you can create exactly that.
But every single time you create an image using this same text prompt, you’re going to get a different blonde woman with blue eyes showing up.
AI platforms don’t keep the appearance consistent whatsoever, so the answer to this is using a Lora.
A Lora is a digital file that stores all of your models information, including physical appearance, the common backgrounds they’re in, the common outfits they wear, the way they pose, and their facial expressions.
By using a Lora, every time you create new pieces of content, your model will look consistent the same throughout.
In this journey, you may hear the word ‘dataset’ fairly often.
A dataset is something that you will create when you go through the process of creating your Lora.
Of course, for the Lora to remember what your model looks like, you need to actually provide it with information to train it.
To do this, you will provide the Lora with a bunch of images of your model, and this bunch of images is called your dataset.
Don't worry, in the course we show you how to create consistent images of your model to use as the dataset before you create your Lora.
This is exactly what it says on the tin. This is when you use AI to swap an image of a face onto another face, simple. This is an extremely simple process that you will learn in the course, but there’s something to bear in mind.
So, you might be wondering why face swapping even exists if you can’t do this, let us explain:
Remember how you need to create a dataset of your model to create the Lora? And remember how to create the dataset, you need a bunch of images where your model looks the same?
To create images where your model looks consistent, you’ll create a bunch of images that look inconsistent, but you’ll face-swap your model's face onto all of this content to make sure they look the same in every image.
Then you will use this face swapped dataset to create your Lora.
This is another AI creation term that you will hear a lot.
Upscaling is something that you will do to improve the resolution quality of your content, and to do this you will use upscaling tools.
The majority of AI platforms will produce content that is good quality, but not great quality.
By upscaling your content, you will improve the visual quality, increase definition, and add more of a realistic feel to it.
Fanvue is the main platform you will use to monetize your content.
As a whole, Fanvue is a subscription based platform, and it’s essentially a mix of social media and OnlyFans all in one.
Here you can engage with other models, engage with your subscribers, and you can sell your content for different prices depending on how valuable they are.
And a quick note, you are able to sell explicit NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content of your model, but that’s not the only route you have, you can monetize by selling SFW (Safe For Work) content too.
This can be non explicit bikini pictures, voice notes, behind the scenes looks into your models private life, knowledge, information, and anything else that you can sell digitally.
Out of all the monetization platforms out there, we can safely say that after trying and testing literally all of them, Fanvue is the clear winner by 100 miles.
This is the term you may hear when people speak about getting their audience to go from social media over to Fanvue.
Your audience will go through a funnel to get to Fanvue, they’ll go from social media, click on the link in your bio, and this link will take them to Fanvue.
This process is called funneling, and without a funnel, you’ll make no money.

- MimicPC / FaceFusion: This is the best face swapping tool on the market that you will use to face swap images for your dataset. Simple difficulty with good results.
- Kling: This is the tool you will use to turn your images into moving videos. The quality of the video depends on the image that you start with. Simple level difficulty, great results.
- OpenArt: This is a tool you can use for post production of your content. If any of your content has any issues and deformities, or you want to add or remove anything from your content, you can use Openart to do so.
- Fanvue: The place where you'll change your financial status. Make sure to sign up using our referral link to secure 1500 likes and a verification badge on your profile which is great for social proofing and conversions.
- GetAllMyLinks: This is the tool you’ll use to funnel people from social media to Fanvue. You know when you see a link in somebody’s social media bio? This link will be hosted by Getallmylinks, or other platforms like Linktree and beacons, and these platforms all do the same thing.
- Play.ht / 11Labs: AI voice tools. These both work the same way, and they can be used to create an AI voice for your model with ease. These voices can be used for lip syncing videos in your content, and you can even sell voice notes in Fanvue.
This world is completely new to you, and we completely understand that.
You’ve likely purchased the AI Model Method because you realize how revolutionary AI is, you know how lucrative social media can be, and so you ultimately understand the potential of AI social media stars.
But you’ve likely entered into this not 100% understanding what the whole process ahead of you actually looks like, and this can create a sense of uncertainty about whether you have what it takes to succeed in this world.
So let us break it down for you, step by step, in order, so that you can sleep easier tonight.
Obviously, you will be shown all of the step-by-step process when you’re watching the course, but we’ll give you a more holistic view of things now.
-
Define your model / niche / TA Do some market research to figure out who your model is going to be, what they’ll look like, what their niche is, and who the target audience is. Use the AI Model Brief Sheet as a template and reference.
-
Decide what AI platform to use Test different AI creation platforms (e.g., Fal AI, Rendernet, Pykasso, Omnime) and pick one that fits your needs and workflow best.
-
Create the dataset / model Start by creating a bunch of similar images (not identical), then use face swapping to make the model consistent, and use these to create your Lora for future content.
-
Batch creation Batch-create a large volume of content (at least 30 images and 30 reels for Instagram) before launching. This ensures you’re never scrambling day-to-day.
-
Create and setup Fanvue Set up Fanvue before you start marketing on Instagram, so you never lose out on interested followers.
-
IG warm up and marketing Warm up your Instagram following the prescribed process, post 3 pieces of content per day, and stay consistent.
-
Monetizing Chat with your subscribers to sell premium content and upsells. It’s texting for dollars, and worth learning before outsourcing.
-
Scaling Once you’ve validated the model and process (proof of concept), scale up by outsourcing, investing in VAs, and running more accounts and promotions.
-
People don’t care that it’s AI. Audiences are comfortable with AI models as long as you’re honest and transparent about them being AI.
-
Don’t think outside the box. Stick to proven strategies; following the playbook beats endless experimentation.
-
It’s not what you want, it’s what works. Create what the market wants, not just what you personally find appealing.
-
Being unique is good, but not compulsory. A unique selling point helps, but there’s enough opportunity for anyone to stand out and succeed.
-
This is a BUSINESS - don’t just do the bare minimum Go above and beyond. Don’t expect results from minimal effort.
-
Volume negates luck. More content, more accounts, more tests. Consistency and volume outperform hoping to get lucky.
-
Business doesn’t go smooth the first time around. Expect setbacks. Learn fast, iterate, and stay persistent.
-
Always learn the business before hiring Do the work yourself before outsourcing so you understand every step.
-
AI isn’t perfect Sometimes generations have errors. Regenerate or fix with post-production.
-
Slow growth Especially at the beginning, expect a slow warm-up. Consistency brings results.
-
IG gets banned Shadowbans and bans happen. Warm up new accounts and keep moving.
- Physical attractiveness matters, but emotional resonance and authenticity matter even more.
- Focus on creating a friendly, cute, and approachable look, not just a "hot" one.
- Don’t overthink details like hair or height. Prioritize what sells and what makes the audience engage.
- Consistency in quality, vibe, and context sets apart top-performing models.
- The real winners combine visual appeal with authentic-feeling context, captions, and profile vibe.
When you’re creating content, think about the audience’s experience, not just your own preferences. If you would scroll past your own content, others probably will too.
