  • senior software engineers like myself are expected to be able to autonomously get themselves onboarded into projects or you're wanting to contribute to open-source. record myself finding open-source projects to build. Watch me fail, then figure out how it works. Most project types are built the same. For example, identify the source code as RN with or without expo then you know it's, npm install, cd ios && pod install. You have to already have all of the prerequisites down but you'll have those because you've already followed along with building our own RN projects.
  • polyglot software development: learning lots of languages is not that hard. It's just a matter of knowing what's possible with the language of choice, knowing how to install packages, modules and understanding how to navigate the ecosystem. I'll show you how to do that in a few modern programming languages.
  • installing software with homebrew and homebrew cask and how to build and publish your own homebrew formulae (i.e. flipper dmg)
