You may have gotten a chuckle at the title; but, this book isn't meant to be funny. This book is so that the men that read is take on some of the discernment around women that I've learned through experience. It is also meant for the women taht read it to understand how a man thinks when navigating this chaotic world of dating.
Throughout my journal as a single heterosexual male, I have experienced a plethora of dating scenarios. Some women have been positive, considerate, and thoughtful; some have been rude, petty, and even violent. It's not just one thing out there. Women are complex and there is so much variety.
The best thing to do is to be prepared and know what to expect. That is to say, you should be prepared to expect the unexpected. What you, as a man should not do, is accept disrespect, negativity, lack of consideration, lack of empathy, judgemental or petty attitudes. When you encounter this, you should walk away, quietly, like a gentleman. You should not engage in recipricating pettiness, and especailly, do not return the favor when it comes to violence. In fact, you should report violent women to the authorities. I know that sounds extreme; however, keep in mind, violent women operate on the downlow with the knowledge that men usually do not report acts of violence for fear of looking weak. Report these women so less men have to deal with it. Do you want your son to have to deal with this shit? He will if you do nothing.
Also, keep in mind, a women usually won't hesitate to report you if the shoe were on the other foot. Keep that in mind next time you feel like being a "nice guy" and let her bad behavior slide.
