How to find the next buzzword:
Lets take something that was around for a long time:
WCMS => web content management system
=> w == web - Today it’s not only web, so leave it away
CMS => content management system
=> c == content or social media, experience, learning, bla bla bla
=> so no c, it’s not right
XMS => x management system
=> m == manage or distribute, collaborate, transform, bla bla bla
=> so no m, it’s not right
XYS => x y system
=> s == system or tool, plattform, solution, bus, bla bla bla
=> so no s, it’s not right
XYZ => x y z
=> Couldn’t find any use case that is in conflict with that.
Now: x y z is a little confusing and hard to take as a explainable abbreviation.
So how about making it a little provocative modern and referable.
So we could take a working abbreviation like WTF and extend it.
Let’s try:
„What ever The Fuck you want Thing“
WTFT
And of course it’s very important to have kind of a version attached to it, so:
WTFT 2.0
But 2.0 is a little old, so let’s make it 10.0 or even better make it a X:
WTFT X.0
X as roman 10 is maybe also old. Think about the operating systems reusing it all the time ;-).
So let’s try 100 which is „C“ in the roman number system.
So now put some explanations and articles about it's importance everywhere.
As in the children story *The Emperor's New Clothes* most people wont dare to ask *WTF*?
Don't be afraid there will be companies building this kind of system ;-)
WTFT C.0 <= The next big think, cause everything we know and understand is boring.
"....WTFT C.0 means having a full data flow from and to everywhere through everything...."
As we need a political correct wording we could also ues:
Wave Transformation Flow of Things.
