Designers Laetitia de Allegri and Matteo Fogale have collaborated with Johnson Tiles to create Mise-en-abyme, a colourful and immersive installation for the bridge over the Medieval and Renaissance galleries in the V&A.


Barnaby Barford: The Tower of Babel

A major sculptural installation created for the V&A by artist Barnaby Barford, The Tower of Babel, tells an array of stories about our capital city, our society and economy and ourselves as consumers.


Curiosity Cloud

Inspired by the Art Nouveau movement, renowned Austrian design duo mischer’traxler have collaborated with boutique champagne house Perrier-Jouët to bring a sensual, interactive installation to the V&A’s Norfolk House Music Room.


London Design Festival Shop

For the first time, the London Design Festival is playing shopkeeper with the introduction of a pop up design shop. Created in partnership with the V&A, the stand-alone shop will sell a curated selection of design-related products alongside Festival merchandise.

The celebrated Wonder(fin)land workshops travel from Helsinki Design Week to give children and their parents a chance to create their own table settings with products by Finnish design houses Iittala and Marimekko. The Alice in Wonderland inspired workshops are the brainchild of two Finnish designers: colour and material designer and trend specialist Eeva Raitio and interior and production designer Tiina Paavilainen.

Wood, metal, cloth, ceramics, glass and cork: a diverse collection of art, objects and accessories. This group exhibition explores materials, techniques and the environment, providing an intriguing insight into the many making and thought processes involved. Starts 15th September.
