Locations with checkins from members of both Foursquare and Gowalla will appear in Twitter streams upon selection. This partnership opens both companies up to the larger market of Twitter users. An API will also be released for third-party apps looking to become more location-based.<br>

<p style="font-family:Trebuchet MS"><font class="Apple-style-span" size="1"> • The New York Times is at the top of the charts, bringing in more than 32 million visitors and 719 million pages viewed in that month. Following close behind were Tribune Newspapers (24.8 million visitors), Advance Internet (18.1 million visitors) and USA Today Sites (16.8 million visitors) </font></p>
