To start a local cluster using rkt:
$ CONTAINER_RUNTIME=rkt RKT=$PATH_TO_RKT hack/local-up-cluster.sh
then we can do
$ cluster/kubectl.sh create -f examples/pod
pod "nginx" created
$ cluster/kubectl.sh get pods
NAME READY STATUS RESTARTS AGE
nginx 0/1 Pending 0 12s
$ cluster/kubectl.sh get events
