The dev for iStat Menus deserves to be paid for their work. It's a great app and it's worth every penny. It's cheap, too. This is Git for eff's sake; you're supposed to support developers here.
Agree its a great program. I have paid for it several times. However, it feels like new versions are being released just to charge an update fee. Features seem to either be inconsequential or manufactured so as to require an upgrade.
