Here's how you could create custom error classes in Node.js using latest ES6 / ES2015 syntax.
I've tried to make it as lean and unobtrusive as possible.
errors/AppError.js
| #!/bin/bash | |
| if [ "$GIT_SSH_KEY" != "" ]; then | |
| echo "Cleaning up SSH config" >&1 | |
| echo "" >&1 | |
| # Now that npm has finished running, | |
| # we shouldn't need the ssh key/config anymore. | |
| # Remove the files that we created. | |
| rm -f ~/.ssh/config | |
| rm -f ~/.ssh/deploy_key |
| 'use strict'; | |
| module.exports = function CustomError(message, extra) { | |
| Error.captureStackTrace(this, this.constructor); | |
| this.name = this.constructor.name; | |
| this.message = message; | |
| this.extra = extra; | |
| }; | |
| require('util').inherits(module.exports, Error); |
| The regex patterns in this gist are intended only to match web URLs -- http, | |
| https, and naked domains like "example.com". For a pattern that attempts to | |
| match all URLs, regardless of protocol, see: https://gist.github.com/gruber/249502 | |
