RainBot is a way for players (and the house!) to make it rain coins on the other players in chat. First, we'll start with the basics on how you can use the bot to make it rain:

1. Send the coins that you want to rain with to RainBot using the sites transfer page

2. Once your coins have successfully be transfered to the RainBot you can use this command from spam channel to see your blance:

#rainbot balance

If you still have a 0 balance it's likely the transfer is queued up. To check the queue you can run:

#rainbot queue

3. Once you've the rainbot has recieved your coins and processed the transfer you can make it rain like this: #rain [Number of players] [Amount to rain]

#rain 5 10000

The above command will send a total of 10000 Ethos to 5 random players (2000 ethos per player).

If you want to rain on a specfic player you can use the folowing syntax: #rainon [Player Name] [Amount to rain]

#rainon ASHER 10000

Quick command summary:

1. #rain [#Players] [TotalRain] - Does a random shower on the number of players for the total amount of rain specified.

2. #rainon [Player] [Amount] - Sends Rain directly to selected user.

3. #rainbot queue - Shows the number of transactions in the queue.

4. #donate [Amount] - Sends the selected amount to M1C4A3L to support the development of RainBot.

How to get rained on?!

The best way to get rained on is just to hangout in chat and chat as you normally would.

How to not get rained on?

Shortly after we stood up the rainbot we spotted a number of people jumping on alt account and chatting up nonsense messages in order to try and get rain. No suprise as if there is one thing we've learned in running crypto games it's that any cheat that can be exploited, will be! For this reason we've added a number of features the the rainbot to keep things fair. Here are a couple things that we've implemented to help ensure fairness:

1. RainBot builds a list of potential winners based on those that have been chatting recently
2. Any duplicate/alt accounts are removed from the list
3. Any one that has since been muted is removed from the list
4. Secrect sauce - Currently there are two other checks we run to make sure that chatters are trying to cheat
