About the Job

GitHub is an amazing product that can revolutionize the way that organizations work, and we want to make sure that companies that are purchasing GitHub have a great experience from the beginning. Part of the complexity of bringing GitHub into an organization is integrating it with current workflows, project development methodologies, 3rd party applications, and existing infrastructure.

We're looking for someone to help our customers maximize the happiness of their developers from the start by guiding them through integrating GitHub with those areas and advocating our philosophy for software development.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone with some combination of experience in all these areas (examples included):

Project management methodologies: Waterfall, Lean, Agile (Scrum) Project management tools: MS Project, PivotalTracker, JIRA, Trello Communication tools: Campfire, HipChat, Yammer, Twilio Native clients: Visual Studio, Xcode, Eclipse, NetBeans CI systems: Jenkins, Hudson, TravisCI, CircleCI, TeamCity, Bamboo, TFS, CruiseControl Authentication methods: LDAP, CAS, SAML Virtual infrastructure: VMware (vSphere and ESXi), VirtualBox ...and of course: Git and GitHub.

Since the person we want to hire for this role will be working with our large business customers, the right candidate should also have experience with corporate compliance and governance.

This role will work closely with our customers to answer their questions in these areas, and help them set up their environments to make sure they're successful while using GitHub.

Candidates must have authorization to work in the US for this role.
