Drafting and pick order

  • Rotisserie is a snake draft, where players take turns picking one card from the pool.
  • The draft order will be randomly determined by rolling 1d20 and starting from highest to lowest. Once everyone has rolled, ties will be broken by re-rolls.
  • The draft will end when all players have 45 cards in their pool.
  • The remaining excess cards will be set aside, and the group can decide what to do with them when the draft ends.

Draft timing

  • We will aim to complete the draft within 2.5 hours.
  • There is no pick timer, although the group can pause decide to institute a clock in order to speed up the draft.
  • After each player has 29 cards, the group can elect to move to double picks in order to speed up the draft.
    • If the speed-up option is elected, the draft order will stop snaking.
  • For single cards priced above $X the pack owner will have first right of refusal for keeping it after the draft.
