Gleaner (拾句) helps you save your own Kindle and WeRead highlights and display favorite passages in Home Screen widgets.
For help, email zhangzhishanlo@gmail.com. Include your Gleaner version, iOS version, and a brief description of the issue. Please do not send API keys, passwords, or private reading notes. Redact sensitive text from screenshots.
Use the Import button and select your Kindle's My Clippings.txt file in the iOS file picker. Your imported highlights appear grouped by book.
Open Settings → Data Import → Import from WeRead. Obtain your personal API key from the official WeRead page, connect, select books, and tap Import Selected Books. This optional connection is read-only and requires your own WeRead account.
The import controls, progress, cancellation, and results are at the top of the screen. Reimporting does not overwrite local edits or duplicate entries with the same WeRead source ID. If WeRead omits a creation date, the note is preserved with its date marked unknown.
Touch and hold the Home Screen, choose Add Widget, search for Gleaner, then select a size. Edit the widget to select its style and theme.
Disconnect WeRead in the import screen to remove the saved key from this device. Imported notes remain until you delete them. To revoke the key, use WeRead's official key-management page. Disconnect before uninstalling, because iOS may retain Keychain items after app deletion.
