Saturn is a voice assistant app that connects you to Google's Gemini AI and the internet while prioritizing your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data.

**Note:** Saturn connects to the internet and processes content through third-party AI services, which may not be suitable for children.

## Data We DO NOT Collect

- **No User Accounts:** Saturn requires no registration, login, or account creation
- **No Data Storage:** We never store, save, or retain your conversations, voice recordings, or personal data on our servers
- **No User Tracking:** We don't track your usage patterns, analytics, or behavior across sessions
- **No Persistent Identification:** All interactions with AI services use anonymous, temporary sessions

## Data Processing

### Voice Data
- Your voice is streamed directly to Google's Gemini AI for processing
- Voice data is processed in real-time and not stored by Saturn
- Google's privacy policies apply to voice data sent to their services
- Audio processing happens in temporary, anonymous sessions

### Local Device Data
Saturn accesses the following data **only when needed** and **only on your device**:

- **Calendar Events:** Accessed to provide meeting information and extract meeting links (requires permission)
- **Contacts:** Searched locally to find contact information for messaging (requires permission)  
- **Location:** Used for location-aware responses and directions (requires permission)
- **Camera/Photos:** Images you capture or select are sent to Gemini for analysis when you choose to share them (requires permission)
- **Personalization Settings:** Stored locally on your device in app preferences

### Third-Party Services
Saturn integrates with various services when you request specific actions:
- **Google Services:** Search, Maps (subject to Google's privacy policy)
- **Apple Services:** Maps, Music, Shortcuts (subject to Apple's privacy policy)
- **Uber/Spotify/etc.:** When you request these services (subject to their respective privacy policies)

## How Your Data Flows

1. **You speak** → Voice sent directly to Google Gemini AI
2. **Gemini responds** → Response sent back to Saturn  
3. **Tool integration** → Saturn accesses requested local data (contacts, calendar, etc.)
4. **Action completion** → Saturn executes requested actions through appropriate services
5. **Session ends** → No data retained by Saturn

## Data Security

- All communications use encrypted connections (HTTPS/WSS)
- No authentication tokens or personal identifiers are stored
- Your personalization preferences remain on your device
- Calendar and contact data never leaves your device unless specifically needed for a requested action

## Your Control

- **Permissions:** You control all iOS permissions (calendar, contacts, location, microphone, camera)
- **Personalization:** Settings are stored locally and can be cleared anytime
- **Voice Data:** Sent to Gemini only when you actively use the app
- **Tool Usage:** Each integration only occurs when you specifically request it

## Third-Party AI Processing

Saturn uses Google's Gemini AI service for natural language processing and response generation. When you use Saturn:

- Your voice and any shared content is processed by Google's Gemini AI
- This processing follows Google's privacy policies and terms of service
- Google may use this data according to their policies
- Saturn has no control over Google's data handling practices

## Image Processing

When you use Saturn's camera or photo features:

- **Image Capture:** Photos you take or select from your library are sent directly to Google's Gemini AI for analysis
- **Content Analysis:** Images may contain any visual content you choose to share, including text, objects, people, or scenes
- **No Local Storage:** Saturn does not store images on your device after sending them to Gemini
- **Third-Party Processing:** Google processes these images according to their privacy policies
- **User Responsibility:** You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate permissions for any images you share
