What you need:
- 3ds/2ds with US/EU/JP regions only. New or old version is fine.
- Pokemon Picross downloaded (no cost)
Warning: This will overwrite your old Pokemon Picross save, but you can back it up first with Nintendo's official backup feature on home menu (no homebrew needed). https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/70/~/how-to-back-up-save-data
Directions:
- Go to https://bruteforcemovable.com/ and follow the directions to get your movable.sed.
- Go to https://jenkins.nelthorya.net/job/PicHaxInjector/build?delay=0sec and pick any username and upload your movable.sed. Then click Build.
- You should now see a <your_username>_.zip on the site page. Open up the .zip and put the 00000001.sav file in sdmc:/Nintendo 3DS/long hex number/another long hex number/title/00040000/0017c100/data/HERE on your 3ds. Overwrite the old file.
- Go here: https://deadphoenix8091.github.io/3ds/#otherapp and download the otherapp file for your correct firmware, region, and new/old 3ds. Rename it to otherapp.bin and place it on the sd card beside the Nintendo 3DS folder.
- Download the homebrew menu here: https://github.com/fincs/new-hbmenu/releases/latest and put boot.3dsx beside the Nintendo 3DS folder. Also make a /3DS folder beside Nintendo 3DS and put additional homebrew .3dsx files there if you like.
- Run Pokemon Picross and the hbmenu should load. Have fun!
