DISCLOSURE OF BIAS
This is written by me -- zod -- and I was obviously involved in the situation heavily.
I fully take responsibility for my own failures during this project.
I was unable to effectively maintain / achieve agreed upon delivery goals -- regardless of the reasoning for this being out of my control, it was my responsibility to handle those deliverables, and at the end of the day, it is my failure to live with.
Furthermore, it is obvious that the project spiralled after I received, and took to heart, some bad advice from someone who had previously shown themselves to be knowledgeable in the fullstack development field. I believe that this caused the majority of delays and unnecessary rewrites or expansions, not Sebastian's requests for one-off projects.
RECENT ACCUSATIONS

Its been brought to my attention that Sebastian has taken to telling flatly-false stories -- or deliberately omitting key details in real stories in order to play the victim -- about our previous time working together when asked. I find this to be deplorable, and I request that such defamatory statements are at once removed from his vocabulary. I'm not going to try to sue some exorbidantly wealthy rich Swedish guy, so you're safe from that Frank, but I am still requesting respectfully that you stop lying about me to avoid taking personal responsibility for your actions.

I was giving the SparkNotes of the situation which resulted in the failure and destruction of spooky.tf to someone, do not remember whom -- and I realized this was the 8th or 9th time I'd had to do it, so I pasted it in here. I haven't read it since, and I probably won't.
essentially the summary is that i became friends and began working with a swedish guy named Sebastian ('The Frankening') who had a pretty large inventory & wanted to fund a competitor to spells.tf
which was not terribly well maintained as you probably know
basically i made a team, made connections from making friends, hired people, and started building the infrastructure for this guys' site
went fine for like 5 months
whole custom fuckin trade map, fully paid for
(got my friend that gig, thats probably the biggest financial win in the whole situation lmfao)
but anyway -- after a while he just got fed up with waiting for actual development; and he was all but computer illiterate if im honest
he admitted to me that he had lost like 6 fucking figures USD in the last 3 years just gambling skins
... and and then he asked for a gambling site of his own.
and then he insisted or he would withhold everyone's pay.
so i said no -- and everyone's pay stopped immediately -- i paid my people back because thats not how I operate but i was already owed like $700, then like $400 more in paying out my team
not a ton but some money
the dude was really fucked up
he like ... visited me in person. no lie, he flew from sweden to Dallas, fucking Texas and stayed with me for a week
looking back on it all honestly it was very surreal

I apologize for the error. It has been a long time, and my memory sucks.
I was angry when I wrote that. I can absolutely still be brought to anger on the subject, as its caused me to delay my graduation from college. But while the failure of the website project was, in my opinion, the fault of Sebastian, I do not blame him for my own situation. I have my own demons to deal with, and he his. In fact, I'm sorry it had to end this way. But it seems it did.
CLOSURE
March 7th, 2024 is 1 Year from when I asked for the $820 that myself and my team was owed for development costs, maintenance fees, subscriptions, and whatever else you had agreed to pay. You had $20k - $30k in just items on your ManncoStore at the time. I remember checking, and being more baffled than hurt. Then you added that, so graciously, I could charge you standard SEK interest.
Of course you didn't mention any of the necessary details to apply that, so I have to guess, but that's fine. It won't mean anything to you anyway with your new position, and general success.
But you aren't going to pay it.
Feel free to prove me wrong. I could use the money.

Sebastian sent me a message on discord regarding my email, and soliciting me to build him a portfolio site, without addressing the outstanding balance. I wasn't nice by any means, but he spoke... disproportionately.

This matter was dealt with between the two involved parties, as stated previously.
It simply means that the financial aspect of the situation was... "handled" in a way which both parties agreed upon.
I have met many people I would have never met were it not for Sebastian's decision to spend a significant amount of money on this project. Ultimately it was a learning experience for us both.
I learned to check someone's history before working with them, and not rush into projects and allow them to balloon in scope.
