TMAAT you had to learn something new to solve a problem
I was doing the general assembly UX bootcamp where I learned UX design. I was working but it was a small part of the boot camp, I learned about Figma on my own and then applied the learnings in my project
* What was the project?
I was working on an e commerce website. We were given a prompt, create a checkout process. They didn't introduce us to Figma much. I struggled because I didn't know a lot. I went back and took a Figma tutorial. I watched some videos, they were helpful. Then I started making wireframes in Figma, which was easier. I received feedback.
* Why did it require Figma?
We were asked to submit a prototype. Everyone is using Figma. We could have worked in any other design tool.
* Did you consider any other tools?
I was taught Sketch but I had some other information in the classroom.
* What was the source of the videos?
Youtube. "Sigma for beginners"
* What were your other resources?
Google, read some articles. Looking for shortcuts that would make my work faster and easier.
* You got feedback
After we submit we present the project and we submit the feedback to the channel. One mentor gave the feedback: We learned about sitemaps but it wasn't needed in that project, but I had created one without understanding why. The feedback was not to make a sitemap.
* Have you been able to apply the idea "don't use inappropriate tools" in future projects?
I was working on another project, a platform where I _____________. He shared some user research that he had. I only applied user interviews because we had a lot of people to talk to. I didn't apply other UR methods that weren't appropriate. We were time constrained. They would have been fine but if I had other methods they would have been fine as well. We already had sufficient data so you don't need to continue
