@morajabi is this still working for you?
I'm having a similar type mismatch when passing
window.clone() as an argument to setup_traffic_light_positioner,

// Prevents additional console window on Windows in release, DO NOT REMOVE!!
#![cfg_attr(not(debug_assertions), windows_subsystem = "windows")]

use tauri::Manager;
mod tlpos; // this is the gist originally posted by charrondev

#[cfg(target_os = "macos")]
#[macro_use]
extern crate cocoa;

#[cfg(target_os = "macos")]
#[macro_use]
extern crate objc;

fn main() {
    tauri::Builder::default()
        .setup(|app| {
            let window = app.get_webview_window("main").unwrap();
            window.on_window_event(move |event| {
                tlpos::setup_traffic_light_positioner(window.clone())
            });
            Ok(())
         })
        .run(tauri::generate_context!())
        .expect("error while running tauri application");
}

@Fake-User Please post the error you're getting. Maybe also try pasting the code and the error into chatgpt.

For anyone interested, I made this into a Tauri v1 plugin:
