However, the daily treasury statement:

is showing the following:

issued:      97
withdrawn:  143
change:     -46

Theory

Usually, the TreasuryDirect data and the TGA DTS line up pretty closely.

Occasionally, we see a discrepancy like this, however.

Theory: a long term bond issued from long before TreasuryDirect matured. So, the TGA drops more than is accounted for in the TreasuryDirect data.
