Quake Season Is On

I've set up a quake 1 server using the darkplaces dedicated server. You'll need the darkplaces client which you can down load from here.

To join the game you need to connect to www.ruffiangames.com

Chat on Talk.gg

This is an excellent adhoc, no account, browser based chat room site. Just go to http:://www.talk.gg and create a quakeseason chat room

Todo

  • Change the rules
    • Winner is first to 20
    • Weapon / Armour pickups don't respawn
  • Get a decent map rotation
    • Find the old maps we used to play
    • Limit it to around 10
    • Include the best DM maps
