To add another person as an editor to your YouTube channel, follow these steps:

Via YouTube Studio (Standard Channel):

  1. Sign in to YouTube Studio:

  2. Navigate to Settings:

    • Click the Settings icon (⚙) in the left sidebar.
  3. Open Permissions:

    • Select Permissions from the menu.
  4. Invite an Editor:

    • Click + Invite.
    • Enter the email address of the person you want to add (must be a Google account).
    • Choose the role Editor from the dropdown menu.
(Editors can upload, edit, delete videos, and manage playlists but cannot change channel settings or access billing.)
  5. Send the Invite:

    • Click Done, then Invite. The person will receive an email to accept the invitation.

Notes:

  • The invited person must accept the email invitation to gain access.
  • Editors cannot delete the channel, manage owners, or adjust billing settings.

This ensures your collaborator can help manage content while maintaining control over critical settings.
