Setup golang, goroot, gopath, gobin

After download and move to your interested folder, add this line to ~/.bashrc and ~/.profile

export GOPATH=$HOME/gowork
export GOBIN=$GOPATH/bin
export PATH=$PATH:$GOPATH/bin
export GOROOT=/usr/local/go

export PATH=$PATH:$GOROOT/bin

The PATH is an important concept when working on the command line. sudo snap install postman

Installing Postman

tar -xzf Postman-linux-x64-5.3.2.tar.gz

How to export and import gpg keys

Every so often I have to restore my gpg keys and I'm never sure how best to do it. So, I've spent some time playing around with the various ways to export/import (backup/restore) keys.

Method 1

Gotten from the RedHat GPG migration manual

Backup the public and secret keyrings and trust database

## Export all public keys

gpg -a --export >mypubkeys.asc
