Snap & Summon is designed to work locally on your device. The developer does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data from the app.
Snap & Summon uses the camera when you choose to photograph something. You may also choose an existing image through Apple's system photo picker. Images are processed by Apple's image-recognition frameworks running entirely on your device.
Captured or selected images and the cards created from them are stored locally in the app's private container. They are not uploaded to the developer or to an AI service.
If you choose to export a card, Snap & Summon asks iOS to save that image to your photo library. The app does not inspect the rest of your library.
Snap & Summon may use device-motion readings to animate a card as you tilt your phone. These readings are processed in real time, are not retained, and are not transmitted off your device.
Snap & Summon has no user accounts, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking. The developer does not receive usage data, photographs, card details, names, or device identifiers from the app.
Cards remain in the local binder until you delete them or remove the app. Deleting a card removes its locally stored image files and card record. Deleting the app removes its remaining local data according to iOS behaviour.
The About screen contains links to this policy, the developer website, and an email address for support. These open only when you select them and are then subject to the privacy practices of your browser, email provider, or the linked website.
Snap & Summon does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other user because it does not collect personal information at all.
This policy may be updated when the app's functionality changes. The latest version will remain available at the Privacy Policy link shown in the app and on its App Store product page.
