 I'm very disappointed that you promote a lying liar.

 I would be much more proud of my alma mater if you instead put out a press release about how you decided NOT to hold this event because of the lies spoken.

 This is not a partisan issue I would be equally proud if you denied this event if it were VP Joe Biden as the feature.

 I am pleased to announce that, once again, Oakland University is winning favorable attention in the national spotlight – this time by hosting a political rally featuring vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan. The event will take place at 7 p.m. tonight, Monday, October 8 in the O'rena.

 Though on a more modest scale than the Republican Presidential Debate we hosted at this time last year, the rally is sure to attract local, regional and national press coverage, which will once again demonstrate our commitment to hosting events that encourage discourse on important social issues.
