Project Expectations: What does each group member hope to get out of this project? Better understanding of jQuery and local storage, overcoming differences in work habits (introvert v extrovert), seamless communication | |
Goals and expectations: github mastery, lots of commits on github, smooth workflow with ping-pong style, use lots of jQuery | |
Team strengths: communication skills, asking for help, code organization, improving CSS skills, pseudocoding | |
How to overcome obstacles: communication, asking for help immediately | |
Schedule Expectations: Meeting Saturday to accomplish agreed-upon goals, meeting every morning around 7:30, pairings every afternoon Mon-Wed, staying late enough to accomplish daily goals | |
Communication Expectations: communicating in person as much as possible, slack if we need to, text about meeting time/places, waffle to keep track of what each person is doing | |
Abilities Expectations: Erik is stronger in CSS and wants to become stronger with jQuery, Javascript, code organization and refactoring. Lola is becoming more confident with CSS but still wants to improve, improve in jQuery | |
Workload Expectations: Erik will do the bulk of the CSS, Lola is doing both iterations of pseudocoding, from there we will dole out javascript/jQuery tasks per day | |
Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests): do a commit/push every time waffle card is complete, use waffle to track workflow, we will each review others code and handle pull requests for the other | |
Expectations for giving and receiving feedback: Any verbal feedback will be direct, honest, with a good dose of praise. | |
Agenda to discuss project launch: projected schedule of completion of phases, when and where to work, pairing schedules, delegation of workload | |
Ideas: celebrate small victories! Stay positive! Focus on working well together more than getting project to complete comp | |
