Banana Apple Raisin Oat Bars
Yummy bars that have no added sugar - great way to use up a few ripe banana.
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 cups quick oats
- 1/3 cup apple sauce
- 1/4 cup milk (cow/soy/almond/coconut)
- 1/2 cup raisins (optional; dried cranberries are great, too)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Mix it all up, spread in a 9x9 pan, and bake at 350° for about 20 minutes.
20 minutes is about right for the oats to soak up most of the liquid leaving a slightly moist bar.
If you want a chewier Clif-like bar, keep baking a bit longer to your texture desires.
