Email for ATI consultation

Hi there,

Oh yes, this is exactly the sort of consultation I was looking for right now, as I've started to investigate the FOI request process at the provincial and municipal level. I am presuming that they are informed by the Federal act.

For a little bit of context, I'm a community member (and co-organizer) for a group called Civic Tech Toronto. We meet at weekly hacknights to work on a civil society projects. (I'm reaching out to you personally, not as a representative of that group.)

Basically, in order to build really interesting systems on top of the government systems, which could automate and improve the process, several changes would be /immensely/ helpful:

1a) Ability to submit FOI requests online via webform. 1b) Ability to submit FOI requests via API. My goal is to build this API regardless, and in order to build this, I simply need (1a) a webform that can be submitted programmatically. But an official one would be a nice bonus.
