I'm having some trouble with the scan code on Line 2. Apparently, newer versions of AHK disable using scancodes with Return, quoth here. Have you worked around this in another way?

I'm also getting ã Ã in front of alI shortcuts I try to type?
Typing into VScode in a text file set to UTF-8:
Shift+Alt+2 = â„¢
Shift+Alt+3 = ‹
Alt + 2 = €
Alt + 3 = £
Ideas?

Unfortunately I no longer have access to a Windows machine and therefore don’t use AHK anymore. If you have the new codes to enter here I can update the gist, or you can fork it and create your own gist.

I was having the same problem, it worked when I saved the script as ANSI.
