Installing (compiling) KDE1 on Linux

This small guide will show you how to install KDE1 on most Linux distributions. However, there are some prerequisites prior to compiling. You will need:

  • libjpeg-turbo
  • libpng
  • libtiff
  • libx11
  • libXext
  • perl
