Sometimes you want to have a subdirectory on the master branch be the root directory of a repository’s gh-pages branch. This is useful for things like sites developed with Yeoman, or if you have a Jekyll site contained in the master branch alongside the rest of your code.
For the sake of this example, let’s pretend the subfolder containing your site is named dist.
Remove the dist directory from the project’s .gitignore file (it’s ignored by default by Yeoman).

In February 2017, Google announced the availability GPU-based VMs. I spun up a few of these instances, and ran some benchmarks. Along the way, I wrote down the steps taken to provision these VM instances, and install relevant drivers.

Nullsoft Scriptable Install System is also known as NSIS open-source system to create Windows application installers. NSIS is a script-based system allowing you to create the logic behind your installer/setup file in a complex way to install tasks. NSIS offers plug-ins and other scripts, for example, to download/install 3rd-party files or communicate with Windows.
This tutorial will guide you through installing and creating your first Windows installer with Nullsoft Scriptable Install System and how to compile your project. Captura Portable will be used as "our application" for the sake of this tutorial.

This guide was written more than two years ago, which in Pi years means it's now graduated college, or something. Inevitably, it's at least a little out of date, and it may even be entirely misleading. There are several helpful suggestions in the comments (thanks everyone), and most recently a report that what's here plain doesn't work on current (early 2022) Raspbian. Which isn't even called 'Raspbian' any more.
As of Jan 2022 I'm partially back in my office-which-has-access-to-eduroam, and I do have a need to build up a fresh Pi desktop. If and when I get that working I'll update this guide. In the meantime: good luck, and please leave a comment to report success or failure.
