FWIW: I (@rondy) am not the creator of the content shared here, which is an excerpt from Edmond Lau's book. I simply copied and pasted it from another location and saved it as a personal note, before it gained popularity on news.ycombinator.com. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the exact origin of the original source, nor was I able to find the author's name, so I am can't provide the appropriate credits.

A lot of important government documents are created and saved in Microsoft Word (*.docx). But Microsoft Word is a proprietary format, and it's not really useful for presenting documents on the web. So, I wanted to find a way to convert a .docx file into markdown.
On a mac you can use homebrew by running the command brew install pandoc.
| //events - a super-basic Javascript (publish subscribe) pattern | |
| var events = { | |
| events: {}, | |
| on: function (eventName, fn) { | |
| this.events[eventName] = this.events[eventName] || []; | |
| this.events[eventName].push(fn); | |
| }, | |
| off: function(eventName, fn) { | |
| if (this.events[eventName]) { |
You can use this class to realize a simple sectioned RecyclerView.Adapter without changing your code.
The RecyclerView should use a LinearLayoutManager.
You can use this code also with the TwoWayView with the ListLayoutManager (https://github.com/lucasr/twoway-view)
This is a porting of the class SimpleSectionedListAdapter provided by Google
Example:
| //Install Macports. | |
| //Install aircrack-ng: | |
| sudo port install aircrack-ng | |
| //Install the latest Xcode, with the Command Line Tools. | |
| //Create the following symlink: | |
| sudo ln -s /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Apple80211.framework/Versions/Current/Resources/airport /usr/sbin/airport | |
| //Figure out which channel you need to sniff: | |
| sudo airport -s | |
| sudo airport en1 sniff [CHANNEL] |
